(неустранимый элемент политического решения любого уровня, начиная с революционных преобразований всего общества и заканчивая голосованием отдельного избирателя, заключающийся в выборе той или иной линии поведения в условиях неопределенности результатов; рисковое решение характеризуется особым типом взаимосвязи объективных обстоятельств и субъективной деятельности по их образованию; успех при осуществлении такого решения зависит не только от "угадывания", но и от умения и волевой решимости направить ход событий в результате активных действий в пользу избранной альтернативы; в 19 в. категория "риск" получила глубокую проработку в хозяйственном праве; c 20-х гг. 19 в. ее начинают связывать с принятием политических решений; в последней четверти века складываются контуры области исследований, которую можно обозначить как "рискология"; c конца 80-х гг. под эгидой шведской академии наук выпускается серия монографий "Риск и общество", где исследуются моменты риска при принятии технологических, экономических и политических решений, а главное — взаимозависимостей между ними)
